Here you will find information concerning our church and its ministries. We hope you find your time spent here a blessing. Our church is a warm and loving church, and we want you to feel comfortable and at liberty to call on us for anything you need. Sunday mornings at Rison Baptist are a time that our community gathers to fellowship, worship, hear from God's Word, and pray together. If you are thinking about checking us out on a Sunday morning, don't worry about not knowing anyone or that you'll stick out like a sore thumb. We have a relaxed atmosphere and you'll find as many folks dressed in jeans and sweaters as slacks and button down collars (and a few suits and ties too.) Just come on, you'll fit in. We have greeters who will greet you with a smile, offer you a warm handshake, help you get where you need to go, and be able to answer any questions you might have.
Our worship services include music and a time of teaching. Our music is a mixture of new music and traditional hymns, and our Pastor teaches every week from the Bible so you won't get any phony bologna here.
If you are considering a new place of worship or a relocation to our area, we would love to have you be our guest.

I am in desperate need of nursery volunteers! We have been having between 4-6 toddlers every week. Right now we only have one paid worker. Could you please look at this list of dates and if you feel like this is something you feel led to do, please let me know if there is a time you could volunteer. We just need one volunteer unless something happens and Mrs. Shelly is not there.

Members. Please help us provide plenty of parking spaces for vistors and the elderly or infirmed by using the auxiliary (gravel) parking lot and the lot by the tennis court area. The lot across the corner from the fellowship hall can be used as well. Also please be mindful not to block the parking lot entrances or exits if you are parking along the street. Thank you for your help!
